"One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things" - Henry Miller

Welcome to Wonder(lust) - a travel photography and advice/tips information source.
Vibrant colors and textures are at the heart of all of my photographs. Whether it’s a mountaintop in New Zealand or a shopkeeper in Dubai, my goal is simple – to create an image that leaps off the page and makes the viewer want to stop and pause, to lean in, to take in the detail and, ultimately, get inspired to explore this amazing world around us.
I started my adventures in travel photography when I realized that few things in life are as exhilarating as travelling – the anticipation of what awaits you upon arrival, of experiencing new and exotic people, places and foods. Venturing far from home can enlighten us, enrich us and stir us to imagine leading very different lives from the ones we have.
I don’t focus solely on photographing landscapes or people or architecture. I go wherever the wind blows me. I love to capture the contrast between shadows and light, the detail in a woman’s face, a blue sky above a field of green.
Some of my best memories have involved venturing off of the beaten path. After all, you never know what awaits you around the next corner, at the bend in the road, at the place beyond the horizon.
I hope you enjoy exploring this site as much as I've enjoyed creating it.
